Polar bear Etched Menagerie necklace For SALE

I've been extremely excited to add the newly designed Etched Menagerie Collection to my Etsy shop! I have been busy hand-crafting the first necklaces in the series. Each piece is one of a kind featuring a hand drawn image that has been carefully etched into copper. The pieces are aged and their unique patina creates and almost rainbow like effect. Even the findings are hand crafted individually for each piece. These are not mass produced and each piece carries the markings of the artist along with the tool marks that add to the handcrafted quality of the jewelry.

This Polar Bear pendant features a hand drawn image inspired by the Woodcut block prints of the Victorian era. The image has been etched into a hand-cut copper shield. The pendant is strung on a high quality antiqued chain. The clasps were created specifically to compliment this piece. In this case the clasp is a piece of hand cut copper in the shape of a sea snail shell.
